On February 6, 2019, Order no. 11 for the approval of the Methodology for setting the regulated rates and the prices applied by the final suppliers to final customers, the issuing authority being the National Regulatory Authority for Energy.

This Methodology has established the following criteria and rules for determining:

  • Regulated rates applied by ultimate vendors to household customers in their own portfolio;
  • The price for active electrical energy applied by the ultimate suppliers forced the non-household final customers in their own portfolio benefiting from the universal service;
  • The cost of active power supplied by the ultimate suppliers forced non-household final customers from their own portfolio who did not have eligibility and did not meet the conditions or did not apply for the universal service;
  • The price for active electrical energy applied by the last-rate suppliers optional to non-household final customers in their own portfolio benefiting from the universal service;
  • The price for the active electrical energy applied by the ultimate suppliers forced the non-home final customers from their own portfolio to take over because they did not provide electricity from any other source.

In addition, various calculation formulas have been inserted in this Methodology to correctly determine the voltage level and the application period. Moreover, the stages of the process of approving regulated rates and the conditions for the approval of the prices applied were established.
